LYNX Blue Line

The LYNX Blue Line offers light-rail service to fifteen stations, which include seven Park and Ride locations between Uptown Charlotte and I-485 at South Blvd. Dozens of bus routes are timed to connect with the light rail at the Blue Line Stations. The trains operate seven days a week from approximately 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM. On the weekdays, service is available every ten minutes during peak hours (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM). On the weekends, the Blue Line will generally operate every twenty minutes during the day (every fifteen minutes on Saturdays) and approximately every thirty minutes during the early morning and late night hours.

LYNX passes may be purchased for full price at the ticket vending machines, which are now accepting cash and credit, located at each Blue Line Station. Cash is not accepted directly from riders on the LYNX. All LYNX passes must have the current date or month printed on them to be considered valid; consequently, Ten Ride Passes are not valid if presented directly to the LYNX, however, transfer passes from any bus will be accepted, even if you are a Ten Ride user.
